McKenney & Hall: History of the Indian Tribes of North America — Insight Browser Client
The Insight Browser has been designed for first-time visitors to the collection and does not require a download.
Quick Start Guide for using Insight Browser:

Be sure that you have allowed pop windows for the following url: digitalprojects.libraries.uc.edu.

Click on the Insight Browser button on the left to open the McKenney & Hall collection.

Browse the collection by clicking on the greater than (>) or less than (<) symbols at the bottom of the page.

Search the collection by selecting Search from the left-hand menu, and then selecting a category from the list on the left. By Keywords is a quick way to search the collection. By Data Field will expand the list of fields and also allow you to make combinations of fields using and or or. Show All returns you to the entire collection.

Select an image by clicking on the image thumbnail once. Then view the catalogue record for the image by selecting "data" on the left-hand side.

Double click on an image thumbnail to open it in a new window, the Image Workspace, where you can zoom and enlarge the image. Maximize this window.

From the Image Workspace, use the maximize button
to maximize the image and then the zoom button
to view the image in more detail.
Consult online help for more information about how to use the Insight Browser. For additional features, such as export, presentations, and searching multiple collections, use the Insight Java Client.
Insight Browser is compatible with Internet Explorer, Netscape, and Mozilla in Win95/98/NT/2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS9/10.
